Biographical sketch: Catherine Nelson (formerly Catherine Mattis) immigrated from Jamaica to Canada in 1976 with her siblings Junior, Baldwin, Pauline and Vincent. Her sister Ingrid remained in Jamaica with her children. Her father Densil immigrated to Canada in 1968 and her mother Barbara immigrated to Canada in 1972. Catherine married Rodger Nelson in 1988.Scope and content: The fonds provides information on the family history of the Mattis family following their migration from Jamaica to Canada. The fonds includes photographs and a photo album cover.
